In the Taipei zoological park there is a gibbon island. When large crowds gather, the gibbons get very excited and begin to sing and dance, slowly at first, the pace quickens to a frenzied crescendo with monkeys leaping around at an ever increasing pace. Soon the whole park resonates with their eerie and yet very beautiful song.
