I and a crowd of painting enthusiasts arrived giggling in Jiu-Fen,
To soak up its atmosphere and give it form in painting,
Its traditional houses, flourishing coffee shops,
narrow winding streets, expansive ocean,
brilliant sunshine, sudden showers, and moody mists.
